Half way through my 40th year around the Sun, I am finally beginning to feel the inner connection I had as a child. There is a playfulness to how I approach my time alone...
A deep sense of renewed joy that is rippling through the rest of my life. Taking extended periods of time for me no longer feels selfish, but necessary to stay connected to my true Self...to be able to truly hear my inner knowing. Her whispers use to be so faint that they were drowned out by the voices of others; friends, family, social media, myself.... Spending time alone creates the space to connect, listen and remember my Self. Slowly, her whispers are becoming louder and louder. Her sense of familiarity is supporting my healing journey and helping me to turn my struggles into strength.
